Our History
The Wesley Foundation at Tennessee Tech University has been a safe home away from home for students. For decades, we have been teaching students about God’s love and preparing them to be strong Christian leaders through worship, bible study, and missions. Our goal is that every student at Tennessee Tech and the Cookeville, TN community to know they are accepted and loved by God.
Looking to the future, The Wesley Foundation at Tennessee Tech will continue constantly ministering to the students of Tennessee Tech and influence their faith in ways that will change their life. A number of students have worshiped with us and served with us over the years. Many have gone on to become influential and active leaders in their local congregations. While serving as a United Methodist Ministry, all students of all denominations or religious affiliation are encouraged to join our longstanding ministry set forth in the teachings of Jesus Christ and life experience of John Wesley. Many members have gone on to full-time ministry serving as local pastors, campus ministers, youth ministers, worship leaders, leaders in higher Christian education, and even overseas missionaries.
The Wesley Foundation at Tennessee Tech is a ministry of The Tennessee Conference of the United Methodist Church.
