SUMMER MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES

If you are interested in spending your summer working in ministry, here are some awesome opportunities! Feel free to explore the organizations’ websites. If you have any questions, come talk to us in the office!

• Cedar Crest Camp
  • Cedar Crest Camp is a youth summer camp located in Lyles, TN. Summer counselors will be the staff who serve in the cabins with campers, offering themselves as leaders of activities, worship, play, devotions, and mentoring.
• Project Transformation
  • Project Transformation’s internships are designed to offer hands-on opportunities to build lasting relationships with underserved children and youth, live in intentional Christian community, experience cultural and socio-economic diversity, and explore various careers in ministry and service.
• Alabama Rural Ministries (ARM)
  • ARM is seeking young adult Christians with a heart to serve with families and children who are living in some of Alabama’s most materially-poor rural communities. These young adults will also host, lead, and disciple middle and high school mission teams who serve with ARM throughout the summer.

POST-GRAD MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES

• Center for Youth Ministry Training
  • CYMT is trains youth ministers by connecting them with a partner church as well as providing an opportunity to earn a Masters in Youth Ministry. Learn about CYMT by watching this video and exploring their website.
